Community Guidelines
NailTeller is a community for sharing real stories, experiences, and perspectives from the nail industry. These guidelines help keep the platform respectful, entertaining, useful, and safe for everyone.
By submitting, posting, commenting, reacting, or participating on NailTeller, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines.
Share real experiences
Stories should be based on real experiences, personal observations, or events that the contributor genuinely believes happened.
Do not knowingly submit fabricated accusations, intentionally misleading stories, or false information designed to damage another person or business.
Writers may change names, locations, timelines, and identifying details to protect privacy, as long as the main experience and meaning of the story remain truthful.
Protect personal privacy
Do not publish private or sensitive information about another person without permission.
This includes:
- Full legal names when unnecessary
- Home addresses
- Personal phone numbers
- Private email addresses
- Financial or banking information
- Government identification numbers
- Medical or health information
- Private messages or photos shared without permission
Use general descriptions or changed names when identifying someone is not necessary to understand the story.
No harassment or bullying
NailTeller does not allow content created primarily to harass, humiliate, intimidate, threaten, or repeatedly target another person.
Disagreement, criticism, and emotional storytelling are allowed, but personal attacks, cruel insults, coordinated harassment, and repeated unwanted targeting are not.
No threats or encouragement of violence
Do not post threats of physical harm, encourage violence, celebrate serious harm, or suggest that another person should be attacked or injured.
Content that creates a credible safety concern may be removed and may be reported to the appropriate authorities when necessary.
No hate speech or discrimination
Do not attack, insult, dehumanize, or promote discrimination against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar personal characteristics.
Stories may discuss discrimination or difficult cultural experiences, but they must not promote hatred toward an entire group of people.
No sexual exploitation or explicit content
Do not post sexually explicit images, sexual exploitation, non-consensual sexual content, or content involving minors in a sexual context.
Stories may discuss adult relationships, dating, betrayal, or uncomfortable experiences when relevant, but the content should not be excessively graphic.
No illegal or dangerous activity
Do not use NailTeller to promote, organize, or instruct others to participate in illegal or dangerous activity.
Stories may discuss past incidents involving illegal behavior when the purpose is to describe an experience, raise awareness, or share a lesson.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, salon, company, public figure, or NailTeller staff member.
Do not create misleading accounts or submissions intended to make readers believe that someone else wrote or approved the content.
Respect copyrights and ownership
Only upload stories, photos, videos, and other materials that you created or have permission to use.
Do not copy complete stories, articles, images, or other protected content from another website, social media account, or creator without authorization.
No spam or deceptive promotion
Do not post repetitive advertisements, unrelated promotional links, scams, fraudulent offers, misleading claims, or content created mainly to manipulate traffic.
Mentioning a salon, service, or product as part of a genuine story may be allowed, but NailTeller should not be used as a spam advertising platform.
Comments and reactions
Comments should relate to the story and contribute to the conversation. Disagreement is allowed, but comments must remain respectful.
NailTeller may remove comments containing harassment, threats, hate speech, personal information, spam, or other prohibited content.
Story moderation
Stories submitted to NailTeller may be reviewed before or after publication. We may edit formatting, grammar, spacing, titles, or identifying details to improve readability and protect privacy.
We may reject, hide, limit, or remove content that violates these guidelines, creates legal or safety concerns, or is not appropriate for the NailTeller community.
Editing a story for clarity does not mean NailTeller verifies every statement or agrees with the opinions expressed by the contributor.
Reporting content
If you believe a story, comment, image, or account violates these guidelines, please use the available report feature or contact NailTeller.
When submitting a report, provide enough information for our team to identify and review the content.
Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. Each report may be reviewed based on its context, available information, and these guidelines.
Repeated violations
Accounts or users who repeatedly violate these guidelines may lose access to posting, commenting, or other community features.
Serious violations may result in immediate content removal or account restriction without prior warning.
Guideline updates
NailTeller may update these Community Guidelines as the platform grows and new community needs arise.
Continued use of NailTeller after an update means you agree to follow the current version of these guidelines.
Help us protect the community
